  I've been a couple times. The new menu has great prices, the food was amazing, and staff were very accommodating. I live in the area and New Market is my new local spot!

  DO NOT GO HERE!! I would have selected 0 stars if it was an option. This used to be an amazing buzzing venue with great wine, friendly service and an eclectic menu, but after my past two visits it has gone downhill big time. We arrived on a balmy autumn evening to find the place empty and were begrudgingly greeted with disdain by the disinterested staff who then then proceeded to sit in the courtyard chain-smoking while we waited for at least 20 minutes to get noticed. Shortly after ordering off the dismally boring menu we were rapidly informed (at approx 8.25pm) that the kitchen was closing and we needed to hurry up. The meal can only be described as pathetic with a tiny steak served with limp lettuce and a few soggy fries. After being ignored for another 20 minutes we were informed the bar was closing. I guess the staff had somewhere better to go. We certainly did!

  Nice decor but just average pub food. Today was the first time I have encountered hospitality staff who seemed to ask rhetorical questions. Would you like any nibbles? Would anyone like any drinks? But then they were gone before you could answer!!! Frustrating! Especially as it was not busy.

  Omg! I couldn't believe my eyes! We really had a great time with our friends there, wonderful mexican menu, perfect environment. But this weekend we were just shocked! Pub restaurant?!? Really?!? What happend to you guys?! Not even a good pub one, so awful!!!! pasta was just olive oil with no pesto sauce! Pizza was tasteless!! Don't even think about the desser menu! Never going back! Such a disappointment!
