  Staff are friendly. Rooms have had a quick refurbish but are serviceable and comfortable. Our air conditioner needed servicing because it has a high pitched whine. Lift is old and rickety. None of that is too much of an issue and wouldn't cause me to complain.
  
  THE PROBLEM IS NEXT DOOR HAS A LICENCE TILL 1AM. And they're open air. Meaning they play bad, LOUD club music that comes right through the walls and windows until 1am.
  
  I know that is not Rydges fault. But in the middle of the night when I cannot sleep, when I have a huge day tomorrow, I do not care whose fault it is, it is not what I signed up for.
  
  The staff are sympathetic but again.... If you can't sleep through that sort of racket DO NOT stay here.

  Thankyou for a wonderful stay! Starting at checkin, the staff were more than accomodating, friendly and helpful!!! The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We had breakfast on the last morning which was tasty and again the staff were very friendly! Great place to stay in St Kilda! I will be back!
